The bottle dates back circa 1912-14.Over the years the bottle has lost its original label but has an exceptionally beautiful intact original seal to identify the brand.
The content of the bottle reveals the blanche Dechanet absinthe, 70cl, 50% Vol. of alcohol.The aroma of the opened bottle clearly tells that Dechanet used au-de-vie to produce this kind of absinthe which seems to dominate over other herbal essences.While being diluted with ice water however, the herbal essences begin to show their presence.The blanche Dechanet absinhe offers a smooth nicely balanced sweet taste with a light touch of after taste bitterness with a little bit of alcohol bite.
